Sherlock Holmes and the Engineer's Thumb
“We are now actually within the hydraulic press, and it would be a particularly unpleasant thing for us if anyone were to turn it on now, wouldn’t it be?”
Failing enginner Victor Hatherley is blessed when he is recruited for a well-payed gig in Milton Keynes. The next day, he comes to Holmes and Watson with a detatched digit, and tells all about his client - a strange man who is rather quiet about the purpose of his home-made hydraulic press. Are those who spend their free time crushing things more sinister than they seem?
In true halfBaked style, not all performers will be off book, and there will be (fully) baked goods provided with every ticket, so join us for a reasonably good time!
