Absurd Person Singular

Absurd person singular is a black comedy following three couples over three successive Christmas eves set in each family’s kitchen. We have the privilege to watch the “backstage” conversations to be had while the party goes on unseen, and each act is driven into absurd chaos by the tensions of social norms and responsibilities, gender roles, class struggles and general ineptitude.

An exploration of class, gender and social tensions played out in a domestic setting, Absurd Person Singular is a classic British comedy, turned Brechtian sleep-paralysis nightmare. It has all your favourite dry and sardonic moments, culminating in descent into absurd dance by the end of the show.
