Merely Players
After struggling to unify their visions for a future production, the members of a theatre company pitch their own interpretations of Hamlet’s final scene. Chaos ensues as the group’s plans become stranger, the characters’ eccentricities emerge, and the group’s vision is further complicated by the comments and antics of the company’s very irritated tech crew.
Five actors and four techies present their hilariously contrasting artistic visions (including a riff-off by a musical theatre couple who seem to have taken “all the world’s a stage” a little too literally). Would the Bard himself have approved of any of this utter madness? That’s for you to decide.
