‘This is more talking than most other parties I’ve been to.’

In a humble garden shed in deepest suburbia, five young idealists have decided to form a new political party to right the wrongs of the world as they see it. Party is a brilliantly funny comedy of manners about small minds tackling big issues – from climate change and fairtrade coffee to what to actually call themselves. First seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009, Tom Basden’s idiosyncratic political satire will make you laugh at the absurdity of politics, remaining just as relevant today in a landscape rife with equally as relevant today in our climate rife with buzzwords and grandstanding.
